What is a Party Book?
One of the hottest trends in school fundraising right now is: The Party Book. The Party Book is truly a win-win for everyone: members of the school community have fun while getting to know each other better, and the school receives 100% of the proceeds from the parties. These fundraisers simplify fundraising and allow the school to extend its fundraising capabilities well beyond just one night of the year, and they offer a way for children, parents, and families to socialize throughout the year.
What's in the book is up to the community to create; it can include themed events like wine-tasting dinners, backyard BBQs, cooking classes, and themed parties. For example, one parent has already put together a party book for primary aged children at a local fire station, there will also be a "sleep-under" party for the primary at school with Allwyn, Adry, and Edith, and there are talks of an adult scavenger hunt being organized all around Pasadena.
Steps for success:
Think about who you know, what you do, where you spend $, and time
What would be a fun party? A round of golf for eight with homemade sandwiches and boozy lemonade? A lunch with Harrison Ford? A ninja parkour adventure for 12? A progressive dinner cooked and served by families who live near each other?
